 | Question: 360 degree photos |

|
What is the best way (equipment, technique, etc.) to produce 360 degree
photography?
---------------------
- The BEST way to make a 360 degree photo is to use a pinhole camera made
from two cans, one inside the other. Wrap the film around the inner can
and place it in the bigger can. Put six evenly spaced pinholes around
the can. Expose. There, youve got it, a 360 degree photo. (By the way, use LARGE film (or paper) to make this OK for the
large format website.) -Depending on your needs and ultimate desired output you can do this
with a 35mm (or other) camera, about 12-16 shots per 360 and Apple's
QuickTime Virtual Reality software. The results can be viewed on the
Web with Netscape 3.x and a plug-in, for example. See http://qtvr.quicktime.apple.com/ for more info. -All I know about 360degree photography is basically on Round Shot.
