-If it is commerical photography and not fine art your are after I would strongly suggest you look at Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara, Califorina. You can look at there web site at (I think) www.Brooks.edu.

-I thought NYU Tisch was pretty good. I eventually left because, among other reasons, the rest of NYU didn't really seem to be worthwhile from an academic standpoint. But there were at least 3 solid years' worth of good curriculum in photography, with excellent facilities and very good instructors.

I have friends who went to RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) which is supposed to have a great photo program (several, actually) as well. That's probably worth looking at, as well as RISD (Rhode Island School of Design) and a few others.
