Works well with USB keyboard and mouse 5 by .. NJV (LA, CA USA)
I bought one of these though I was a little skeptical after I read all the review here that all the features of my keyboard (Logitech DiNoVo) and mouse (Logitech Revolution) will probably not work. I took the chance and I am glad to report that every single features of my keyboard and mouse work. I hook every things through a USB 2.0 hub which is then connected to the KVM/USB switch. With one button, all my USB peripherals (keyboard, mouse, printer, scanner, tablet, web cam, etc.) switches between two PCs.

Nice.

Works great, even with wireless mouse and special keys 5 by .. Mark_A (Chicago, IL USA)
Works exactly as advertised. I use it with a Mac Mini (running OS X) and MacBook Pro (running Vista) and a Dell 24" FP. Both via DVI and both at 1900x1200. I have a logitech wireless mouse and Microsoft Digital Media Pro keyboard. These are plugged into the proper mouse and keyboard ports on the switch and they work fine including the extended keys (media, shortcuts, etc.) (Other reveiwers have mentioned they need to go into a proper USB port)

Went for this model as it was the only one actually rated for 1900x1200 or higher and may upgrade to 30" monitor soon, so will need the extended res (2500x1900) if I do.

As yet I haven't tried the USB hub capabilities and not interested in the sound aspects.

Previoulsy, I had this model and it also worked flawlessly

IOGEAR MiniView USB KVM Switch with Audio and Cables (GCS634U)

Quality Product!! 5 by .. N. Sander (San Francisco, California USA)
I was worried that I needed to get a USB keyboard when buying this switch but was positively surprised that it has a PS/2 to USB converter that lets me connect my old (beloved) click keyboard to the switch. I'm using a MacBook Pro and a PC and both work flawlessly. The fact that I can customize the hotkey is very nice, it now works like my old cybex switchview. The audio switching is a nice bonus too. I used a lot of kvm switches in the past with all kinds of problems and have to say that this one seems to be exceptionally robust and error free. Well done!!! Highly recommended!

Just what I needed! 5 by .. ben_r_ (Sacramento, CA USA)
This worked perfectly for what I needed! Now if it were only a quarter of the price we'd REALLY have something here! So right out of the box you can tell this thing is quality. Very solid build and small considering all the connections it has to support. All the cables you need are included. I bought this to bounce back and forth between my Mac Mini and PC so they could both share my 30" monitor. Note: for the mac to output 2560x1600 res the dual-link dvi adapter had to be purchased. I really only use this KVM for the monitor switching, and perhaps at times the USB port switching, but I was VERY impressed with the good amount of options for various configurations it has. Overall I think its a great product, I just wish these devices were at least half the cost.

Exactly what I was looking for 5 by .. R. Graebe (Franklin, TN)
When I purchased my 22" monitor in late 2007, I couldn't find a KVM that would support the 1680x1050 resolution with a wireless USB keyboard and mouse. I found this unit, purchased it and it works perfectly. I'm running an HP desktop via DVI and a Lenovo laptop in a docking station via DVI with a Microsoft Wireless Desktop Elite keyboard and mouse. The extra buttons on the mouse as well as the scroll wheel work as if they were plugged in directly. After some reviews, I was thinking that I've have at least some feature that didn't work, but so far I haven't found what that might be. The audio switches as well which is a nice feature. I was able to reprogram the hotkey since the default didn't make much since with this keyboard and could "print out" the results inside of Notepad to see the current configuration. My biggest problem now if figuring out which PC I'm using! I'm running virtual machines inside of the PC's as well which makes it even more of a challenge, but it's great to have a single set of controls for all of it while maintaining the full peripheral compatibility and hi-res monitor. It's a bit pricey, but works great. Nice too that it includes all the necessary cabling.
