 | Any one heard of this school? |

|
I have been looking into photography schools and I have narrowed it
down to two. The Hallmark Institute of Photography and The New England
School of Photography. They are both expensive so if anyone knows
anything about them I would really appreciate hearing about them.
I am also curious to know anyone's opinions on school vs. work
experience when it comes to learning about photography and getting
started.
---------------------
see http://www.smu.edu/~rmonagha/mf/semipro.html for surprising details
on a photography career (like average salary under $25k US etc) and high
competition (6 out of 7 fail to land jobs after 4 year schools in photogr.)
It would be worse, except 4 out of 5 students who declare a photography
major drop out of it before they graduate anyway, see http://www.smu.edu/~rmonagha/mf/classes.html for info on
photo classes and training; RIT has a nice site with info on different
photogr. schools in their online database etc. and their site is linked here
