I've got a Canon D20 camera, and I wanted to take pictures of the kids
playing sports. I have a good lens for outdoor sports, but it eats a
bit too much light and is a bit too strong for indoors. I was thinking of the canon EF 135mm f/2L USM http://consumer.usa.canon.com/ir/controller?act=ModelDetailAct&fcateg... Does anyone have any experience with the combination taking indoor
sports pictures? Or any other lens suggestions?

-F2 is great. 135 might be a bit long on a digital body indoors. Twist
on a zoomie and verify what you can use from a focal length standpoint. Remember that white balance or RAW is your friend. Learn to anticipate and pre-aim. Thinkahead about what moves/plays in your sport make a good shot. Get where you can get faces. Fill the card... take lots of shots. Then keep everything organized
and ranked on your hard drives. - #1 rule of serious digicam photography! Take far more photos than
you hope to use - then get home and sort through them for the
"keepers." Since each additional photo costs about zero - and one
reusable card takes the equivalent of several rolls of 35mm film - this
is essential. No processing costs but your time for the bulk of photos
you'll not use, either.
