Can anyone tell me about the New York Institute of Photography course (900
bucks)? Is this worthwhile, or just a waste of time and money. I am
interested as an amatuer to improve skills. I really want to hear from people
who took this instruction.

-waste of resources -I'm also interested in taking the course. I have their brochure and it
*appears* very attractive. If you sincerely consider it to be a waste of
resources, can you give some reasoning? -As a follow on to my own post, I'm also using a digital camera. Before you
all flame me, I've 2 Canon SLRs in the closet (AE-1 and T70) but have used
digital for 6 years now and on my 4th digital camera ... a Nikon 990; it has
full manual capabilities. I'm interested in photography, not digital
imaging or processing directly, but using a digital camera. Wondering if I should wait for the NYIP digital course, or if it will be too
basic. I'm already putting together a portfolio, but want to improve my
photographic skills.
