About 15 years ago I had to give up my darkroom, for various reasons. I
would like to get back to black and white printing. Does anyone know of
any rental darkroom space in Northern New Jersey, Southeastern New York,
or New York City. I don't mind traveling a little. I'm in the northeast
corner of NJ, only a few miles from Manhattan.

-A friend of mine signs up for photography courses at the local
community college. She has taken all the courses 2 or 3 times now,
but they come with darkroom privileges. You might consider the same.
If you find any courses that strike your fancy, you could even go
to the classes -There are 2 rental darkroom facilities that i know of in Manhattan: 1. Photographics Unlimited, 17 West 17th st., 255-9678 2. Latent Image, 135 W. 26th st., 242-0215 I'd suggest visiting both to decide which facilities suit you better
